Addresing the violence towards women and children

 Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) encompasses various forms of abuse, including physical, sexual and psychological that affect women and children. This issue reflects deeply towards undermining victims' rights and overall well-being. To combat VAWC, laws and efforts are needed, emphasizing the importance of legal safeguards, public awareness, and support systems for survivors. In that way, creating a space for women and children where security is guaranteed is a must.

 One of the laws that protects women and children alike in the Philippines is Republic Act (RA) No. 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004, stands as a pillar to protect women and children from abuse. Complementing this, RA 10364, or the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2013, strengthens measures against human trafficking, particularly targeting the exploitation of women and children. This law enhances penalties for offenders, expands the scope of protection, and reinforces partnerships among government agencies, civil society, and international organizations to combat trafficking effectively.


Another significant addition is RA 11313, the Safe Spaces Act of 2019, which addresses sexual harassment in both public and private spaces. This law aims to create a safer environment for women and children by penalizing catcalling, stalking, and other forms of gender-based harassment. Together, these laws form a framework to prevent and address VAWC. However, their effectiveness hinges on proper enforcement, education campaigns, and societal commitment to fostering respect and equality for all individuals. Finally, is these laws would be adminstered under those conditions that ensures efficiency, it would be able to procreate an environment where women and children are safe.

     Venturing out in my last years of Junior High school, it's still in the first quarter and it has already been a hassling start to the school year. Yet I had fun, various more activities that I have participated in living in the joyous moments along with others. Furthermore, in these beginnings, I have found the true extent of my abilities. Now brimming with confidence, I can now articulate my ideas much more properly during lectures now my voice can resonate with my thoughts. What I want to earnestly do

    Lien Dixzel Quindag Alconcel, that was the name of the boy, who's birth was unplanned. Yet his parents (Mr. Engelbert Alconcel and Mrs. Lilibeth Alconcel) did everything they could to nurture and nourish this bright young boy. This boy was one of the two sons of these couple. All of them lived in a nice middle class besides the creek of Pantay Tanurong within the municipality of Caoayan. As he grew older, his parents realised his immense prowess in logical Mathematics!
