Let the 15 years sink in

                    F ifteen years if a lot, but to fear time is wonder around, absent of progress would be foolish...      Dynamism can be unforgiving. As I transition through each phase of life, the expectation of change looms. In 15 years, I can only imagine the alteration I’d have to go through. Will I still find joy in Japanese-animated shows? Will I continue indulging in bleak, realistic fiction which mirrors the more brutal aspects of life? Will the same meaty, savory cuisines still satisfy me? Or will I remain the same—stagnant, lazy, yet mentally composed?      The challenges adulthood serves would take courage to overcome. Yet, I am determined to face them head on. As time flies by, maturity starts to sink in, and the harsh side of life reminds you to always be prepared. Entering adulthood, I will gather skills, fortify my resolve, and patiently strategize my path.      ...

Another memory to hold onto

CELEBRATING ISNHS'  122 ND  FOUNDATION DAY        It’s 6:20 AM, the weary breeze along the school’s field and patiently waiting for our juniors to march till it’s the 10 th graders turn to venture outside the school’s campus.  Minutes stretching endlessly, waiting until a quarter before 7’ and yet no sign of being our turn. Impatience among my classmates grew and they couldn’t seem to hold it in. Just then, it finally struck 7:00 and we took the first steps in our 2-hour journey along the pavements of Vigan City.            The movement of 10-Marconi began with perfect synchronization, their disciplined strides setting the pace, and equally spaced distances. Setting our eyes on securing the Most Discipline Grade-Ten Section award.
